If I tell you this is my first time blogging, will you judge me for being a few years behind? It's not that I don't like technology. It's not that I don't care what others think. It's not that I have nothing to say.
It's just that I'd rather talk to someone I know than keep a diary for strangers to peruse at their leisure. I am the person that replies "What do you want to know?" when casually asked to describe myself.

- I am a student at the University of Missouri, studying agricultural journalism and natural resources management. My interest in agriculture comes from living in rural areas and involvement in youth organizations, like 4-H and the National FFA Association. I did not grow up on a working farm. I will complete my undergraduate studies in May 2008, and expect to enter graduate school in the fall. I plan to pursue a masters of science degree in tourism development and marketing with research in personal motivations and agri-tourism.
